The kids and I had a great time in the inflatable kayaks and managed to do it all without Robins help! Wahoo. Lizette, Zach and Matty shared one double kayak and just paddled out and in over the small waves and swells at a nice high tide at the most amazing beach - Tahunanui (in Nelson). The water had warmed all day on the sand and was so amazingly warm.
Abbie and I were a bit more adventurous and paddled over to a small island and back in another double. We had great fun.
Nana, Zach and I had a quick visit to the ReStore (Habitat for Humanity) where Zach found some great turf shoes which will be perfect for this winters hockey.
Popped back to Tahunanui for a super warm swim (best time is around 5-6pm), the water is like a nice warm bath!!
No pics sorry, we just enjoyed to day too much to remember to take any!! A good sign I guess, just a bit boring for the readers - sorry, you'll just have to use your imaginations :)
I love this product, they are way better than my kunai I bought a couple weeks ago. I would recommend these for beginners and they have held up pretty good.
